Almost all mountain bikes these days come with front suspension forks and are the most important elements of mountain biking, you should look. If the bike you are looking for does not have front suspension forks, it is likely that a hybrid, a touring bike or a road bike.

Emerged Coil Holders

In general a coil fork is ideal if you have a limited budget or after a bicycle field. What are your choice more reliable and easier to maintain. They are easy to configure and tune.

Many suspension forks these days and can be adjusted by changing the weight of oil in the fork. A small dial on the fork is much easier, but only more expensive forks will have this.

Compression

It is the opposite of rebound and speed the way toward below. You will not find too many bands that allow you to adjust what you do not worry too much. Provided that the holder is installed on your weight, you need not worry about compression.

Trademarks

In considering the mountain bike components, especially forks, stick to brands like Rock Shox, Fox, Manitou and Marzocchi. They have more money for research and development and build better and more reliable forks.

Brake Mounts

If the bike has disc brakes, keep in mind you can upgrade to disc brakes in the future to search for the disc brake mounts.

Updated

If you are thinking of improving your fork so it's a good idea to update when you purchase your bike instead of a month later, when he saved a some money.

Why?
